Parisi Speed School's 2010 NFL Combine Class Awaits Upcoming Draft
Former UConn Walk-on Marcus Easley is Ready to Take on NFL

FAIR LAWN, NJ - The NFL Combine training program at the Parisi Speed School is world-renowned. Parisi has sent over 125 players to the NFL including the #2 draft pick in 2008, Chris Long. One of this year's leading performers, Marcus Easley, trained alongside twenty other athletes--all under the guidance of Martin Rooney. During Easley's first tests at the Parisi Speed School he benched 11 reps and recorded a 9'10" broad jump. In his final tests at the 2010 NFL Combine this March, Easley knocked out 16 reps, ranking him 8th among all wide receivers. He was also a top performer in the broad jump at 10'4.5", finishing fourth, and ran an 11.5 in the 60-yard shuttle.

The New York Times took note of Easley's performance at this year's NFL Combine commenting, "Five of the prospects in the first group of 21 receivers to work out were under 6 feet tall. But even the big men can move, especially Connecticut's Marcus Easley. He's listed at 6-3 and 210 pounds, and his unofficial times were 4.43 and 4.39."

Marcus Easley is a native of Stratford, CT. He was an in-state walk-on to UConn's football team. Easley's raw talent and desire for the game were highlighted during his time at UConn; his role improved from walk-on to star athlete. His recent performance at the NFL Combine has cemented him as a mid-round NFL draft pick.

Yet, Easley is not the only "sleeper" that will come from the Parisi Speed School this year. The twenty other athletes trained who trained with Rooney have all been contenders at their College Pro Days this past March. The majority of these athletes have recorded results they had never expected of themselves.
