Kettle Bell Training 

Unlike traditional dumbbells, the kettlebell’s center of mass is extended beyond the hand. This allows for swing movements not possible with traditional dumbbells. Because more muscle groups are utilized in the swinging and movement of a kettlebell than during the lifting of dumbbells, a kettlebell workout is said to be more effective and yields better results in less time.

Because the center of mass on a kettlebell “swings”, micro-muscles are needed to balance a kettlebell, more so than a dumbbell. The existence of a handle allows for “release moves” which are not available to a dumbbell.

1)     Kettlebells can be the solution to trying to squeeze cardiovascular, resistance, functional AND flexibility training in an already overbooked schedule. KB movements will develop strength, endurance and flexibility at the same time. Faster than any other method.

2)     The solution to thinking of your body as a collection of “muscle groups” to be “isolated.” KB exercises train your body to work as the unit it is. Since the brain knows movements and not “muscles” you become more coordinated with KB use. This is also why athletes look different than bodybuilders.

3)     The solution to killing your joints trying to get your heart rate high enough. KB training will make you rethink what your max heart rate is!

4)     The solution to LIFE SEATED. KB’s have a reputation for strengthening backs and abs like nothing else before. The ballistic, but non-impact nature of KB work is the key. You are on your feet the whole time with KB training. The perfect antidote to modern seated society.

5)     The solution to complicated programs. KB training can be simplicity defined. The four basic exercises (the swing, clean, press and snatch and their variations), can be used two or three times per week to keep you lean, strong and functional for the rest of your life.

Ropes Training

The Battling Ropes produce these incredible results, because they introduce you to two new elements. The first element will train your mind and body to maintain power over a greater period of time. This power is a combination of strength and explosiveness. This maintaining power will carry into any arena. The second element that is new to any training you have ever done before is the strength aspect of the Battling Ropes. This aspect will put you into a mechanical disadvantage. This disadvantage is completely safe. However, it produces maximum results. You will find yourself actually pushing and pulling at the same time. You will also find yourself doing an isometric while you are performing a full range of motion. With this strength system you will find that you will get the maximum results in the shortest period of time. You will also find that there is a constant tension throughout the exercises, unlike other types of strength training.
